There are a tons of options once you land in Puerto Vallarta. If you are going to want to be mobile, renting a car is a great idea. Taxis and car services are also very prevalent. Either way, you are going to want to stop at the Mega (Mexican version of Walmart) and stock up on booze, water and snacks.

This is an amazing service that our dear friends who have a home near by use religiously. You can make a request from our website and enter in the dates they are coming we will reply back with a quote for however many days they ask for. For first time renters we provide a shuttle service from the airport bring them over to their office north of PV. They go over the "rules of the road" supply maps and help with directions. When returning the car, you just drop it at the same facility and get a ride back to the airport. Super easy! Ask for Adam and tell him it’s the Stember/Brown wedding in Punta Monterrey.

Reliable company for airport transport.  They can do up to 8 people in each suburban, and the price will include a stop at the Mega on the way in if people want to do a grocery/liquor stock up. They are great, super reliable, it is $140/round trip.
